Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received a delegation from the Abu Dhabi Centre for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (ACTVET), the organisers of WorldSkills Abu Dhabi 2017.

Shaikh Mohammad welcomed the delegation headed by ACTVET Director-General Mubarak Saeed Al Shamsi and praised the centre’s efforts which contributed to the success of WorldSkills Abu Dhabi.

Shaikh Mohammad reiterated the UAE’s interest and the special attention it pays to such events, which help discover talent and foster the spirit of innovation and competition among young people in the fields of science, technology and knowledge. He added that focusing on boosting peoples skills is at the centre of the country’s developmental policies and projects, as they are the most valuable resource.
