Mohammad receives invitation for Khalifa to attend GCC Summit

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday received Mohammad Bin Hamad Saqr Al Moawda, Bahrain’s Ambassador to the UAE.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, was present.

Shaikh Mohammad received from Al Moawda the invitation extended by Bahrain’s King Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan to attend the Gulf Cooperation Council Summit, which is due to be held in Manama on December 6 and 7.

The meeting was attended by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, Dr Anwar Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future, Amal Abdullah Al Qubaisi, Speaker of the Federal National Council, and other officials.
