Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received Egyptian President Abdul Fattah Al Sissi at Zabeel Palace on Monday.
Shaikh Mohammad welcomed the Egyptian leader and underlined the strong relations binding the two countries and peoples.
The two leaders discussed a number of regional issues of mutual concern and emphasised the importance of strengthening the ties of cooperation and the level of coordination on all levels.
Shaikh Mohammad commended Egypt’s national role with regard to the Arab national security and safeguarding Arab interests and its efforts to enhance the bases of peace and stability in the region.
He lauded the remarkable economic growth witnessed by Egypt and its impressive development in public services rendered to citizens across the country to ensure a decent life for the Egyptian people.
The two leaders stressed the importance of strengthening collaboration between the UAE, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Bahrain to entrench the values of peace, tolerance and stability in the region away from extremism and intolerance.
