Fujairah/Abu Dhabi/Al Ain: The nation takes pride in the UAE Armed Forces and the sacrifices of soldiers who are performing their duty to defend those who have been wronged and consolidate values of peace, justice and equality in Yemeni society, His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said after visiting the families of Emirati martyrs on Thursday.

Along with His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, Shaikh Mohammed visited families of the martyrs in Abu Dhabi, Al Mafra in Western Region and Al Ain.

“We draw from our faith in our nation and our confidence in our people, as well as our faith in Allah, justice, peace and peaceful coexistence among different people regardless of their religion, ethnicity and culture. Everyone is equal in both their rights and duties,” Shaikh Mohammad said.

The Vice-President added that strength shown by the martyrs’ families reflects the strong social and national cohesion in UAE society between leadership and people. He said that this reassures us about the wellbeing of what has been built by the UAE’s founding fathers, adding that the nation was built on strong foundations that will never be shaken by challenges that have become a key part of the UAE and Emirati peoples’ culture in various fields and predicaments, particularly in the humanitarian and national front.

In Fujairah, Shaikh Mohammad offered condolences to the family of martyr Khamis Rashid Al Abdouli, who died in the line of duty during Operation Restoring Hope under the Arab coalition to support the people of Yemen and their legitimate government.

Accompanied by Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Mohammad visited the martyr’s mourning tent in Al Khalibiya area of Fujairah offering the martyr’s family their sincerest condolences.

Shaikh Mohammad also visited the mourning session of martyr Yousuf Salem Ali Mohammad Al Kaabi in Fujairah who was killed in Yemen.

In Abu Dhabi, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed offered condolences to the family of martyr Mohammad Khalfan Abdullah Saleem Al Siyabi. Shaikh Hamdan and Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, were present.

During a visit to the family’s mourning majlis in Al Shamikha, Abu Dhabi, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed offered their heartfelt condolences to the martyr’s family, and prayed for the martyr’s soul.

Later, in Al Marfa, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed visited the family of martyr Ahmad Khamis Al Hammadi.

In Al Ain, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid offered condolences to the family of martyr Ali Khamis Saleem Al Ketbi. He expressed his heartfelt condolences and prayed to Allah Almighty to grant solace to the family.
