Manama: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has arrived in Bahrain for a fraternal visit.

Shaikh Mohammad and his accompanying delegation were received at Bahrain International Airport by Shaikh Hamad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, Shaikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of the King of Bahrain, Lieutenant General Shaikh Mohammad Bin Eisa Al Khalifa, National Guard Commander, Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Sultan Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Shaikh Eisa Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Mohammad Bin Salman Al Khalifa, Royal Court Minister, Shaikh Khalid Bin Ahmad Al Khalifa, Lieutenant General Shaikh Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, and other shaikhs.

Shaikh Mohammad was accompanied by Shaikh Ahmad Bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman of Emirates Group, Lt General Musbeh Bin Rashid Al Fattan, Director of Shaikh Mohammad’s Office, and a number of senior officials.

Shaikh Hamad has bestowed on Shaikh Mohammad the Shaikh Eisa Bin Salman Al Khalifa Medal First Class.

The medal was bestowed on Shaikh Mohammad during his meeting with Shaikh Hamad.

The event was attended by the delegation accompanying Shaikh Mohammad, a number of shaikhs and Bahraini officials.

The medal comes in recognition of Shaikh Mohammad’s role in strengthening the existing fraternal ties between the UAE and Bahrain in all fields.

Shaikh Mohammad expressed his pride about the honour, deeming it an honour for the UAE leadership and its people. He added that it also reflects the depth of fraternal and social bonds between the two peoples.
