Dubai: Dubai Police’s new identity strategy, based on innovation, security and communication, has been approved by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The new strategy complies with the goals of Dubai Police strategic plan 2016-2021, and is in line with Dubai government plan 2021 and inspired by the UAE’s 2071 vision, to ensure the highest rates of security, safety and happiness for Emiratis and expatriates.
Shaikh Mohammad was briefed on all phases of preparing the strategy and the steps taken to come up with an efficient and applicable strategy.
The drafting of the strategy passed through several phases, starting with building broad outlines and reviewing achievements and contributions made by Dubai Police in serving the nation, citizens and expatriates as well as visitors over the years.
The strategy was also based on an in-depth study that analysed the future development in the short term and long-term.
Shaikh Mohammad praised efforts of the police service and its eagerness to implement sophisticated work methods in compliance with the best international practices and experiences.
He instructed Dubai Police to carry on with its development process while maintaining the highest standards to keep abreast of the rapid development experienced by various sectors in the emirate.
The new strategy aims to strengthen the efficiency and competence of police to deal with any challenges to ensure safe and stable life for all community members, as well as a better work environment in emirate.
Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in -Chief of Dubai Police, said the new corporate identity strategy is inspired by Shaikh Mohammad’s vision for building a safe, assured and productive community capable of introducing positive changes and adding value to all aspects that can help improve people’s lives.
Al Marri said Shaikh Mohammad focuses on happiness and positivity as the key to a successful life. “The strategy is based on three key principles: innovation, security and communication that reflect Dubai’s approaches towards the future,” Al Marri added.
