Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs, on Tuesday chaired a meeting of the boards of trustees of the Executive Councils of the UAE at the annual UAE Government meetings.
The meetings covered the progress and accomplishments of UAE Vision 2021, and outlined the first steps towards UAE Centennial 2071.
Shaikh Mansour said: “We are all united in our national vision and goals. Enhancing collaboration between government sectors is a national priority that increases our efficiency and accomplishments.
“The overall objective of the Executive Councils across the country is to work towards the betterment of the UAE. Sharing knowledge and new ideas contributes to achieving that goal.”
During the meeting, several initiatives were adopted with the goal of enhancing cohesion between various councils, to work towards accomplishing the UAE Vision 2021 objectives, and to outline together the first steps in the march towards UAE Centennial 2071.
Shaikh Mansour chaired the meeting of the Executive Councils on the first day of the two-day event, the largest gathering of its kind, which brings together key UAE government leaders.
