Abu Dhabi – The UAE Armed Forces alerted the residents around Sharjah’s Al Khan Corniche. Al Taawun and Al Majaz to expect loud noises due to preparations for the Union Fortress II military demonstration that will take place on Flag Day, November 3.
The Armed Forces noted that loud noises will be emanating from helicopters, fighter jets, armoured personnel carriers and fast attack crafts.
The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces and demonstration’s organising committee said that they are keen on providing the public an opportunity to attend a live performance that displays the high capabilities and dedication of the UAE Armed Forces, which it utilises to protect the nation and its citizens and residents.
The Armed Forces announced that the Union Fortress II event will be open to the public, who will get a chance to enjoy the show taking place on the waters of Al Khan Corniche. Giant screens will also be installed next to the main platform.
