Sharjah: Sharjah Police announced on Saturday that replacement of lost driving licences will now only be done online.
Motorists have to log on to the Ministry of Interior’s website, www.moi.gov.ae, to obtain their driving licence replacement.
The initiative aims to facilitate services to customers and enable them to complete their transactions through smart applications without approaching the traffic and licensing department.
“The public can avail of the service at all times regardless of their location or the time of day,” a police official said
The application can also be downloaded on mobile phones.
The traffic department will not receive any request in person from November.
