Abu Dhabi: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received yesterday (Monday) Their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates on the occasion of Eid Al Adha.
During the reception held at Al Mushrif Palace, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed received and exchanged gretings with Dr Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Al Qasimi of Sharjah, Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi of Ajman, Shaikh Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi of Fujairah, Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid Al Mualla of Umm Al Quwain and Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi of Ras Al Khaimah.
The Rulers congratulated President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan on the occasion of Eid Al Adha, and expressed their good wishes for him to continue to lead the country and further promote progress and prosperity.
Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, was present during the reception.
Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed also received Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah; Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman; Shaikh Mohammad Bin Hamad Bin Mohammad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah; and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah. They all conveyed their good wishes to Shaikh Khalifa, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed. They also paid tribute to the sacrifices of Emirati youth taking part in the Arab coalition in the defence of the Yemeni legitimate government.
Earlier, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid and Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed also exchanged Eid greetings with ministers, senior officials and members of the diplomatic corps accredited to the UAE, as well as representatives of international organisations.
The reception was also attended by Shaikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Presidential Affairs; Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior; Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation; Shaikh Hazza Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council; and a number of shaikhs, ministers, dignitaries and officials.
Earlier, the Rulers received well-wishers separately at their respective emirates.
Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid, in the presence of Shaikh Hamdan and Shaikh Maktoum, received scores of well-wishers on the occasion of Eid Al Adha at Zabeel Palace. He received greetings from dignitaries, ministers, citizens and representatives of Arab and Muslim communities, senior officers from Dubai Police, Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces.
In Abu Dhabi, Shaikh Mohammad Bin Zayed received Eid Al Adha well-wishers at Al Mushrif Palace. He received greetings from shaikhs, ministers, senior officials, Armed Forces commanders, senior officers of the Ministry of Interior, officials of the Supreme Council for National Security and security agencies, senior officials, dignitaries and representatives of expatriates.
They wished prosperity and peace to the UAE under the leadership of President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan. They conveyed their greetings to Shaikh Khalifa and wished him good health.
In Sharjah, Dr Shaikh Sultan received Eid Al Adha well-wishers at Al Badea Palace after the prayer. Shaikh Sultan Bin Mohammad Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, was present.
In Ajman, Shaikh Humaid received well-wishers at Al Zaher Palace. They all wished him well and more prosperity to the UAE. Shaikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman, was present.
In Umm Al Quwain, Shaikh Saud Bin Rashid received Eid well-wishers at his palace. He received greetings from shaikhs, heads of local and federal departments, citizens and representatives of Arab and foreign communities.
In Ras Al Khaimah, Shaikh Saud Bin Saqr received scores of well-wishers at Khazam Palace in the presence of Shaikh Mohammad Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah.
In the Western Region, Shaikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Western Region, received well-wishers at Liwa Palace.
