Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Interior has launched a new service for issuing “entry visa” permissions to residents of GCC countries and companions of GCC countries’ citizens in all UAE check points and ports for categories mentioned in decree No 377 for the year 2014.

The service will be available through the Fawri (immediate) gate and applications can be done through the website www.moi.gov.ae in accordance with the conditions and procedures required.

Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Ministry of Interior’s Assistant Undersecretary for Naturalisation and Residency Affairs, pointed out that the new service is part of the Interior Ministry’s keenness to keep abreast of technological development.

Al Khaili said that it is meant to facilitate and simplify procedures for everyone before their arrival in the country, thus saving time and effort in these ports.
