Dubai — Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, received the students who won the title of Innovative Local Programmer and talented students who reached the finals of a hackathon organised by Hamdan Bin Mohammad Smart University.
Shaikh Hamdan called on the title winners to innovate and excel in the technology sector so that they can become future scientists to not only benefit themselves but also serve their nation by contributing to its progress. Shaikh Hamdan also called on them to be role models for coming generations.
He wished the top 12 students success in their future endeavours.
The Local Programmers initiative is considered the first national programme of its kind that aims to create a generation of youth that are equipped with the tools and smart technology techniques to shape the future and meet the requirements of Dubai Strategic Plan 2021.
