Dubai: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, issued an Executive Council resolution approving the organisational structure of the Community Development Authority (CDA) of Dubai.

The newly issued resolution No (26) of 2015 aims to enable the CDA to implement its strategic plans, develop its social services to better serve the community, and achieve excellence in community service in the emirate.

The resolution authorises the director-general of the CDA to issue the resolutions required for implementing its provisions, including those approving the functions of the CDA organisational units.

It also aims to enable the organisational units of the CDA to exercise their duties and powers with a view to ensuring high quality social services.

The newly approved organisational structure of the CDA comprises six sectors: corporate support sector; licensing and control sector; human rights sector; benefit and financial empowerment sector; social planning and development sector; and social care and development sector.

The resolution takes effect from the date of issuance.
