Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, yesterday (Tuesday) attended dialogue sessions on executive plans to accelerate the implementation of Dubai Plan 2021.

Shaikh Hamdan visited a number of dialogue sessions hosted by a number of laboratories, where he spoke with participants from the public and private sectors, in addition to parents, students, citizens and global experts.

Shaikh Hamdan emphasised the importance of holding such sessions in order to engage with various relevant bodies and officials in Dubai on the best ways for achieving the aspirations of the wise leadership and driving Dubai towards the ranks of top global cities.

During his participation in a session dubbed “A Generation for the Nation”, Shaikh Hamdan said: “Prior to the launch of Dubai Plan 2021 and during the first edition of the Creative Labs, I met with a number of participants and listened to their proposals and initiatives that aim to advance Dubai’s development. I said back then that it is important for students to participate in such discussions because they have awareness, knowledge and they know their aspirations for their own future, and the future of the nation.”

Shaikh Hamdan then visited a session on dispute settlements, through which participants discussed finding alternative solutions for resolving disputes by boosting the role of a settlement as the first step in resolving any dispute, and making it an acceptable alternative to courts, particularly when it comes to cases related to real estate and workers.

He also visited a session on cybersecurity that focuses on thwarting cybercrimes and boosting levels of security and safety, as well as a session on accelerating the implementation of Dubai Industrial Strategy, and a number of other sessions.
