Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, witnessed today (Wednesday) the graduation of the 15th batch of officers at the Rashid Bin Saeed Al Maktoum Naval College in Abu Dhabi.

The ceremony was also attended by Mohammad Ahmad Al Bawardi Al Filasi, undersecretary of the ministry of defence.

Shaikh Hamdan inspected the graduates. There was a military parade which reflected the graduates’ military skills and discipline.

A speech was delivered by Brig Gen Tareq Khalfan Abdullah Al Za’abi, naval academy commander.

He said that the naval is moving towards its goals day after day, adding high-quality achievements for the benefit of the nation.

Shaikh Hamdan awarded the top achievers, after which the graduates swore allegiance to the country and its leader. The flag was then passed on to the 16th batch at the academy.

Shaikh Hamdan expressed his deepest loyalty and appreciation to President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, on his unlimited support to the armed forces.
