Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, participated in the Foreign Ministry’s Innovation Week activities.
Shaikh Abdullah posted his suggestion on the innovation wall in the Abu Dhabi premises of the ministry. He urged all the ministry’s employees and visitors to participate in the initiative and submit their suggestions regarding their aspirations for the UAE’s diplomacy.
Shaikh Abdullah said that this will lead to consolidating principles of innovation in the work environment in a vital and interactive way.
The innovation wall was set up in the premises as a space for brainstorming. The ministry’s activities for UAE Innovation Week began on Monday and comprised different initiatives, lectures and seminars on innovation, such as ‘Innovate for UAE’, that aims to raise awareness about creative environments and promote a culture of innovation.
The ministry will organise a creativity lab to discuss challenges in the field of diplomacy and review innovative proposals submitted by employees for dealing with these challenges.
The ministry also hosted an exhibition on ‘Innovation in diplomacy’, which was used to review best creative practices in the field of diplomacy implemented by diplomatic corps in the UAE.
Among other activities was the launch of the innovative system, which will provide the ministry’s employees with a platform that encourages them to unleash their creative potential by proposing ideas to address challenges.
