Abu Dhabi: Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, on Thursday received Brigitte Macron, wife of French President Emmanuel Macron, who is currently visiting the country.
Shaikha Fatima welcomed the visit of the France’s First Lady, stressing its importance in strengthening ties between the two friendly countries in the cultural, scientific, and other fields.
She highlighted that UAE women play active roles across the nation in various areas through their positive contributions to the economic, social and cultural changes witnessed by the country. She added that Emirati women have achieved remarkable success in all fields and now they are securing the highest leadership positions in all fields.
The meeting was attended by a number of shaikhas, ministers, dignitaries and senior officials.
