Abu Dhabi: Her Highness Shaikha Fatima Bint Mubarak, Chairperson of the General Women’s Union, Supreme Chairperson of the Family Development Foundation (FDF) and Chairwoman of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, chaired on Tuesday a meeting with the higher management of the FDF.
Shaikha Fatima reviewed the foundation’s performance and achievement during the first six months of 2016. She praised efforts exerted by the foundation to achieve its strategic goals. She also reviewed services and programmes offered by FDF in Abu Dhabi’s eastern, central and western regions, and the number of people benefiting from these services and programmes.
Shaikha Fatima emphasised her direct interest and keenness on providing all requirements that support the foundation in accomplishing its strategy.
Upon her arrival at the foundation’s branch in Al Manaseer, where the meeting was held, she was received by Mariam Mohammad Al Rumaithi, Director-General of FDF.
Shaikha Fatima met with the directors of centres affiliated with the foundation, in addition to counsellors, directors of departments and employees. She listened to their proposals and suggestions for developing the foundation’s work plan during the coming period.
