Emergency financial aid for Palestinian pilgrims’ families

Ramallah: The UAE’s Human Appeal International (HAI) announced emergency financial aid to families of the victims of a bus accident carrying Palestinian pilgrims.

The aid includes an allocation of financial aid for the children of the victims and medical treatment for the injured. Ebrahim Rashid, HAI Commissioner-General in the West Bank, said that HAI followed all the details related to the tragic accident, which resulted in the death of 17 pilgrims and the injury of 34 others.

The Palestinian pilgrims were killed when their bus overturned in Jordan. The passengers, all from the West Bank, were en route to a pilgrimage in Makkah.
