Dubai: There was 390 fire drills held in Dubai during the first half of 2015, which benefited 208,820 people.

The drills were carried out by the 12 Civil Defence stations in Dubai.

The 390 drills involved 3,263 firemen, 947 members of the police, and 1,005 Dubai Ambulances employees.

The average response time was 7.5 minutes, and the average duration of the drills was 24.9 minutes and customer satisfaction was 99.1 per cent.

Al Satwa fire station carried out 56 fire drills in the first quarter, which was the most number of drills among all stations.

The drills were held at 65 educational facilities, 87 hotels and furnished apartments, 91 government entities, 60 companies, 31 towers, 15 public buildings, 10 hospitals, 14 banks, and 10 shopping malls, in addition to other facilities.
