Abu Dhabi — President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan issued 14 federal decrees ratifying a number of agreements with friendly countries, establishing a consulate-general in Nigeria and appointing two ambassadors abroad.

Shaikh Khalifa issued federal decree No. 6 for 2018 ratifying an agreement with Prague on avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on incomes.

He issued federal decree No. 7 for 2018 ratifying an agreement on the reciprocal promotion and protection of investments with Antigua and Barbuda.

The President also issued a federal decree No. 8 for 2018 ratifying an agreement on the reciprocal promotion and protection of investments between the UAE and Ethiopia.

He issued federal decree No. 9 for 2018 ratifying the statute of the Economic Judicial Authority at the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

Shaikh Khalifa issued federal decree No. 10 for 2018 ratifying an agreement on strategic cooperation on fighting dangerous crime and terrorism between the UAE and European Police Office.

A federal decree No. 11 for 2018 was issued by Shaikh Khalifa endorsing a security cooperation agreement on combating terrorism between the UAE and Armenia.

He issued federal decree No. 12 for 2018 endorsing a military and technical cooperation agreement with Ukraine.

Shaikh Khalifa also issued federal decree No. 13 of 2018 ratifying an agreement on air transport services between the UAE and Liberia, and decree No. 14 endorsing agreement on aviation services with Brazil.

He also issued federal decree No. 15 of 2018 ratifying protocols on the amendment to the convention on international civil aviation, and federal decree No. 16 endorsing agreement on aviation services with Cape Verde.

The President also issued federal decree No. 20 of 2018 on the establishment of a UAE consulate general in Lagos, Nigeria. He issued federal decree No. 21 for 2018 appointing Shaikh Ahmad Ali Hamad Ebrahim Al Mualla as ambassador for the UAE in Sri Lanka.

He issued federal decree No. 183 for 2017 appointing Abdullah Khalfan Mattar Saeed Al Rumaithi as an extraordinary ambassador in Norway.
