Sharjah: Details of the seventh International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) will announced on Monday, the International Government Communication Centre (IGCC) said.
To be held on March 28-29, the IGCF provides a platform for experts to transparently discuss significant topics, address change and explore challenges.
It also proposes recommendations and takes decisions that help governments and government communication personnel to improve their performance, consequently elevating the performance of government communication and further increasing audience’s satisfaction rate.
Monday’s press conference will unveil the IGCF programme including the line-up of speakers and guests, key sessions and discussion panels to be held at Expo Centre Sharjah.
The announcement will take place in the presence of Shaikh Sultan Bin Ahmad Al Qasimi, chairman of the Sharjah Media Council; Tariq Saeed Allai, director of Sharjah Government Media Bureau (SGMB); Jawaher Al Naqbi, manager of the International Government Communication Centre; members of IGCF’s academic committee, officials from IGCF sponsors, and local media representatives.
Themed ‘Digital Millennium … Where To?’, the annual event is expected to host more than 2,500 experts, decision makers, officials, professionals in government communication sector, state employees, civil society organisations, journalists as well as students of journalism and communication.
