Dubai: The UAE Cabinet has approved Abu Dhabi as the location of the GCC Police Headquarter.

The decision was taken on Sunday at the Cabinet meeting chaired by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.

The establishment of the GCCPolice was earlier announced by Gulf leaders after the 35th GCC Summit in Dohaearly this year.

Shaikh Mohammad also tweeted that the Gulf is heading for further integration, coordination and unification of its efforts to enhance the security and protection of its people; “our gulf is one and it’ll always be that way.”
