Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister, received at his office today (Saturday) Hanifa Aman, Malaysian Foreign Minister.
During the meeting, the two reviewed cooperation and friendly relations between the UAE and Malaysia and ways of developing them to serve the common interests of the two friendly peoples and countries.
They also exchanged views on the overall developments and current events at the regional and international levels.
Shaikh Abdullah praised the bilateral relations in various fields.
He expressed the hope that the current visit of the Foreign Minister of Malaysia to the UAE will contribute to developing and strengthening friendly relations and widen areas of cooperation.
Shaikh Abdullah stressed that the UAE will support Malaysia’s efforts to provide humanitarian assistance to the Rohingya refugees.
For his part, the Malaysian Foreign Minister praised the level of relations between the two countries, stressing his country’s keenness on developing these relations to serve the common interests of the two countries.
