Abu Dhabi: Shaikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, on Tuesday honoured the strategic partners of his ministry.
The partners were honoured on the sidelines of the 11th annual forum for UAE ambassadors abroad, held on the ministry’s premises in Abu Dhabi.
Shaikh Abdullah honoured Mubarak Rashid Al Mansouri, Governor of the UAE Central Bank; Shaikh Fahim Bin Sultan Al Qasimi from Sharjah’s Department of Government Relations; Mohammad Thani Murshed Al Rumaithi, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Captain Khalid Hamid Al Ali from the General Civil Aviation Authority; Ahmad Al Neyadi from Mubadala; Omar Al Muhairi from DP World; Mohammad Al Falasi, chief executive of Janan Agricultural Investment Company; Saeed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, chairman of Al Fahim Group; Shamis Al Daheri, managing director of Ali and Sons.
Also honoured were Tarek Al Wahidi, chief operating officer of Agthia Group; Masaood Ahmad Al Masaood, chairman of Al Masaood Group; Mohammad Eisa Sultan Al Suwaidi from Majid Al Futaim Group; and Saud Al Nuaimi, CEO of Julphar.
On a separate note, the forum for UAE ambassadors abroad continued its activities, with keynote speeches given by Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs and the Future; and Suhail Mohammad Faraj Al Mazroui, Minister of Energy; and Shamma Suhail Faris Al Mazroui, Minister of State for Youth, in addition to other officials.
The forum saw the participation of a number of ministers and senior officials who discussed regional and international developments and events, as well as their impact. The forum also touched on opportunities and challenges related to the UAE’s policies, as well as the country’s approach in a number of sectors.
