Dubai: UAE is going to be damp, dark and register a drop of at least three to four degrees in temperature over the next two days.
A spokesperson from the National Centre for Meterology and Seismology ( NCMS) told Gulf News that the UAE will have a heavy cloud cover accompanied by strong Northwesterly winds that will result in light showers throughout the country. No heavy rainfall expected though.
A marine warning out for residents, discouraging them to go near the sea. The wind over the sea is expected to blow at 65-70 kmph with prediction of very rough seas and waves rising up to 12-15 feet.
The strong winds will whip up sand and lower visibility for the next two days, especially in the interiors of the country. The minimum temperature recorded over the Jebel Jais mountain in Ras Al Khaimah was 9.7C. The maximum temperature is likely to hover between 23-26 degrees C.
According to NCMS forecast, this damp and cloudy spell accompanied by strong winds is likely to continue for the next two days with chances of winds getting stronger and an increase in cloud cover.
