Abu Dhabi: Lieutenant General Shaikh Saif Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, met the Permanent Secretary of the UK Home Office, Mark Sedwill, on Tuesday.

They discussed a number of issues of mutual interest and ways to enhance cooperation in the areas of policing and security.

Sedwill praised the relations between the two countries, and also conveyed to Shaikh Saif greetings from Theresa May, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, who was the former Home Secretary.

Major General Dr Nasser Lakhrebani Al Nuaimi, secretary-general of the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, attended the meeting along with a number of other officials.
