Dubai: The UAE School Youth Festival — a cultural showcase of student talents from all Indian schools in the UAE — will be launched during the last week of April in Dubai and Ajman.

The two-day show consists of 35 competitions. Students can compete in art, music, acting, dancing and story-telling.

The overall championship trophy will be awarded to the school which scores the highest points. The contests held for various age groups and categories will have a fixed number of entrants from each school for each age group.

The emerging winners will be honoured with titles (UAE Kalathilakam and Kalaprathiba). The stage activities will be held at Habitat International School and Indian International School in Ajman and the off-stage competitions will be held in Dubai. Interested candidates can register through their schools or they can download applications from www.uaeschoolyouthfest.com.
