Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday inaugurated the Martyrs’ Hall at the Dubai Men’s College of the Higher Colleges of Technology, to commemorate the sacrifices of Emirati martyrs.

Shaikh Mohammad inaugurated the Martyrs’ Hall as he honoured 228 outstanding students out of a total of 7,300 student graduates comprising the 24th and 25th batches.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Ahmad Abdullah Humaid Bel Houl Al Falasi, Minister of State for Higher Education, and Mohammad Omran Al Shamsi, Chairman of HCT’s Board of Trustees, were present.

Al Shamsi highlighted the special attention and support given by the UAE’s wise leadership to empower Emirati youths with knowledge and higher education in line with the country’s national strategy to invest in young talent and potential for the sake of the nation.

“The graduation of as many as 7,300 students in both bachelor and master programmes in all disciplines reflects youths’ understanding of the importance of education and the farsighted strategic vision and ambitions of the leadership,” Al Shamsi said.
