Dubai: His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, on Monday attended the graduation of four batches from the Mohammad Bin Rashid School of Government at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai; Shaikh Maktoum Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai; Mohammad Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, and Dr Anwar Mohammad Gargash, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the school’s board of Trustees, were present.

Shaikh Mohammad watched a documentary on the college, its objectives and role in developing and preparing young government leaders in the UAE and the Arab world.

He congratulated the graduates and urged them to keep developing themselves through continuous training, research and study, to gain experiences and become qualified and efficient leaders and a role model for generations to come.

Shaikh Mohammad praised the efforts of the board of trustees in attracting qualified and experienced Emirati and Arab cadres, and in providing facilities to Arab brethren to enable them to join the school and benefit from its programmes in developing government administrations in their countries.

In his speech, Dr Gargash spoke about the role of the school, the first of its kind in the Arab world, and praised the vision of Shaikh Mohammad who ordered the establishment of this school in 2005 for the development of government leaders.

The ambassadors of knowledge at the school were honoured during the graduation ceremony.
