Ajman: His Highness Shaikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ajman, issued a decree establishing the Knowledge and Human Development Authority in the emirate.
The public authority will be affiliated with the Government of Ajman, and its objectives will be to improve the standard of private education within an advanced creative environment, which will be achieved by setting up and managing private model schools in and outside the emirate. The authority will coordinate with federal bodies specialised in education policies, and work with them in organising initiatives and drawing up plans that serve human development in the UAE in general, and Ajman in particular.
The authority’s goals include ensuring that students receive quality education and training teachers who can serve as models for developing students and building future generations. Teachers will undergo training programmes to develop their abilities.
Shaikh Humaid also issued a resolution appointing members of the authority’s board of trustees. As per the resolution, Dr Shaikh Majid Bin Saeed Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi will serve as the board chairman.
This decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and circulated to all authorities concerned.
