Abu Dhabi: Parents in Abu Dhabi can now apply online for their children’s school transcripts, or get them attested online following the launch of an e-service by the Abu Dhabi Education Council (Adec) on Wednesday.
Residents can request attestations for all grade levels through the online facility. In addition, they can apply for student continuity certificates, completion of examination certificates (for home-school students) and behaviour and conduct certificates given to Grade 12 pupils.
The Adec carried out 50,000 transactions last year.
Saoud Al Nayadi, manager of customer services at Adec, said the online service is available to both public and private school pupils, students at adult education centres and those who are home-schooled.
In many cases, residents had to travel long distances to avail of a service that took only a few minutes to complete.
