Abu Dhabi: A total of 88 secondary school learners from across the UAE were recently honoured for outstanding achievements in assessments by the Cambridge International Examinations.

The educational qualifications provider, which offers a sought-after British curriculum, announced in a statement on Thursday that 96 awards were presented to students in the UAE.

Among the awardees were 15 learners from UAE schools who attained the highest cumulative marks worldwide across a number of subjects. Eight of these top scorers were enrolled at Abu Dhabi-based schools, including four at Merryland International School, while four were enrolled in Dubai schools and three in schools operating in Sharjah.
