Sharjah: The second hearing into the so-called dirty dancing video which reportedly depicts a top UAE sport celebrity at a wedding last month was held in closed session at Khor Fakkan court on Thursday morning.

Only one woman from Comoros Island remains at large while the other 10 people were located by police and referred to public prosecution.

The session presided over by judge Mohammad Abdullah Al Zarouni.

During the last hearing, the court heard one suspects who was originally believed to be a woman was, in fact, a man dressed up like a woman. The suspect is shown in a video dancing with a man believed to be Hurriyah, but the latter’s identity has not been verified in court.

Meanwhile, public prosecution ruled out that the owner of the house from the case denied his knowledge of the incident, and that the presence of the dancers and the whole wedding was entrusted to one of his sons.

The homeowner said he was not aware of the video that included scenes of inappropriate behaviour carried out

The video, which spread on social media in mid-March, apparently depicts dozens of men dancing with a group of women in a questionable way during a wedding party of a family member of a famous television broadcaster in Khor Fakkan last week.
