Umm Al Quwain: Two Asian workers died on Tuesday morning after they were run over by a motorist on Al Ittihad road in Umm Al Quwain while they were installing interlock on the road.
Major Dr Saif Salem, Director of Al Salama police station said that the motorist was heading from Ras Al Khaimah towards Umm Al Quwain when he suddenly lost control over his car, running over two workers who were working on the road at around 5.30 am on Tuesday. Major Dr Salem said that according to the initial investigations, the accident occurred due to the driver’s negligence.
