Aden: Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi on Sunday said challenges in Yemen are not over yet. He stressed the importance of maintaining rational religious rhetoric to promote enlightenment and national unity and reject terrorism, extremism and fanaticism which wreak havoc on society and stability, life and security of people.

Hadi was speaking during a meeting with Yemeni public figures, scholars and orators. He praised their efforts to promote the tolerance of Islam and its rejection of extremist ideology that spreads strife and chaos.

The Yemeni president also praised the religious scholars and Arab Coalition for defending the country and the rights of people and countering what he described as "immoral aggression" on Yemen.

"Invaders and rebels have murdered innocent people and destroyed Yemeni villages and towns," he said.

"Challenges in Yemen are not over yet. These forces still have tails and puppets that continue to change their shape and style, which requires vigilance," President Hadi said.
