Aden: A ninth ship arrived at Aden port yesterday carrying 4,832 tons of food and relief aid in addition to 14 vehicles provided by the UAE Red Crescent Authority.

This assistance comes as part of the humanitarian efforts of the Red Crescent Authority to help people who have been affected by the repercussions of the crisis in Yemen in all areas of life.

The relief aid includes a variety of food stuff, drinking water, dates and general goods.

The Authority stressed its keenness to follow up on its humanitarian efforts in the coming days to ward off the effects of the crisis in Yemen. It added that it will work to provide more development aid for the reconstruction of Aden and help those affected in various fields and to provide daily necessities.

The UAE Red Crescent’s aid to Yemen has continued through ship moving directly from the UAE to Aden, providing relief and humanitarian support to the largest possible number of people affected by the events in Aden governorate and eight affiliate districts.
