Saudi Arabia considers restoring privileges to Yemenis
The minister, Mujahed Al Guhali, said that the Saudi leadership has given initial consent to restore privileges granted to Yemenis before the Second Gulf War
Sana'a: The kingdom of Saudi Arabia is mulling over giving Yemen workers special privileges that they lost in 1991 due to their government's stance on Iraq's invasion of Kuwait, Yemen Minister of Expatriates told Al Jamhuria daily.
The minister, Mujahed Al Guhali, said that the Saudi leadership has given initial consent to restore privileges granted to Yemenis before the Second Gulf War.
In 1991, thousands of Yemen lost their jobs in GCC countries, when Yemen sided with Iraq in its invasion of Kuwait.
