Militant's supporters threaten Yemeni Jews
A group of Yemeni Jews have left their homes for a hotel after receiving warnings to leave Yemen from supporters of a militant in the northern province of Sadaa.

Sanaa: A group of Yemeni Jews have left their homes for a hotel after receiving warnings to leave Yemen from supporters of a militant in the northern province of Sadaa.
"We are a total of 45 Jews, we left our houses in Al Haid area in Sadaa to shelter at a hotel here in the city of Sadaa, after we received warnings to leave our country, Yemen, within 10 days from the date of the threat letter," Dawoud Yousuf Mousa told Gulf News.
The ultimatum which was given on January 10 by an extremist group, ended on Saturday, according to the warning.
The group has been staying in Paris Tower hotel in Sadaa city since last Wednesday, at the expense of the local authorities, which tried to convince them (Jews),to stay in their homes, ignoring the threats.
Local officials confirmed that the Yemeni Jews are still staying at the hotel in Sadaa until yesterday but they promised they would solve the problem and return them to their home and secure and protect them, like other Yemeni citizens, from any dangers.
"Yes, they received threats from Al Houthi supporters. They are now here in the hotel but I can assure you that the problem will be solved today, and they will return to their villages," Salem Al Wehayshi, Sadaa deputy governor told Gulf News.
Last Wednesday, four masked people came to Dawoud Yousuf Mousa and threatened to slaughter him and the other Jews if they do not leave by January 19.
A letter from the militants, a copy of which was faxed to Gulf News said, "After accurate surveillance over the Jews residing in Al Haid, it has become clear to us that they were doing things which serve mainly Zionism, which seeks to corrupt the people and distance them from their principles, their values, their morals, and their religion."
