Butchers arrested for selling dog meat in Yemen
Tempted by the reasonably priced meat, a large number of people queued outside the butchers' shop, thinking that they were buying cattle or goats' meat

They were arrested from Bait Al Fagih district in the western province of Hudiedah, a local daily reported on Monday.
Tempted by the reasonably priced meat, a large number of people queued outside the butchers' shop, thinking that they were buying cattle or goats' meat.
According Al Jamhuria newspaper, local people also noticed that dogs disappeared from the districts' streets during Eid.
Police also found remains of butchered dogs in a garbage bin.
