15 women die in Yemen bus crash
Bus carrying 30 were on way to a wedding
“Fifteen women in the same family were killed and 16 others were injured, some of them seriously, when their vehicle carrying 30 women fell off a mountain cliff” in the northern province of Hajjah, it said.
The women were heading from one village to another to attend a wedding when their “overloaded vehicle” left the rugged road and tumbled over a high cliff, Saba quoted a local government official as saying.
Because of a poor network of roads, fatal accidents are very common in the mountainous Arabian Peninsula country.
