Yup!!! The thunder and heavy winds have already hit the emirate of Sharjah, waiting for Rain :)
Yasmin, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
The mercury is likely to drop and windy and dusty condition could reduce visibility on roads and highways in open areas and the desert. Meteorologists at Dubai airport are expecting drizzle and light showers in some areas on Friday, rainy conditions on Saturday and strong winds on Sunday.
The NCMS said motorists need to be cautious on roads due to poor visibility and blowing sand. The centre has also issued a warning for sailors and fishermen, advising them to avoid venturing out in the sea as it will be very rough.
Forecasters at the NCMS said clouds would enter the emirates from the west due to an upper air low pressure. It will be partly cloudy to cloudy all over the country. There is a probability of rain especially in Sharjah, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman and Umm Al Quwain, said the centre.
There will also be a noticeable but gradual drop in temperature along with windy conditions in the western areas on Saturday. The wind will be south to south-easterly in the beginning later becoming strong north-westerly.
