Al Ain: Parts of Dubai, especially Jebel Ali and Jumeirah received light rain on Sunday evening.

Earlier, weather reports had predicted scattered rain and winds were likely to kick up sand and dust in some areas, reducing the horizontal visibility in open areas, the NCMS forecaster said.

The temperature was also expected to slide down as clouds gradually increased from this morning over Dubai and other parts of the emirates including Al Ain and Fujairah.

“We are expecting scattered rain,” the forecaster said.

The sea was also expected to be rough at times. However, the national weather bureau did not issue any warning or alert till 2pm.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), the conditions may linger for the next couple of days.
