Al Ain: Rain hit several parts of the country Monday, ushering in winter. Met officials said chances of more afternoon and overnight showers continue to exist in different parts of the emirates.
Thick black clouds hung over skies in the eastern, northern, and western parts of the country that later gave way light to moderate rains in Dubai, Ajman, Sharjah and places in Al Ain such as Al Hayer, Al Shuwaib, and Swuihan districts.
“It was light rain just for a few minutes,” said V.P Menon, a Gulf News reader who was travelling on Dubai-Al Ain highway.
He said black clouds were visible when he started from Dubai, but most of the areas between the two cities were dry.
