Al Ain: Maximum daytime temperature is likely to drop to 26 degrees Celsius on Thursday under the influence of cold Shamal winds that may reach the speed of 50km/h in the coastal areas. Rain is also expected in the north-eastern emirates.
Night temperature will also drop a few degrees to 14 degrees Celcius and the sea will be rough to very rough in both the Arabian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).
The centre has warned people to stay away from the sea for the next 48 hours. It also advised residents of the eastern coast to take precautions in case of sea water surge in the coastal areas.

Rain, drop in temperature expected in UAE
Rain is also expected in the north-eastern emirate
Motorists were also warned to be careful due to the expected poor horizontal visibility, specifically in the internal areas. Strong winds are expected to stir dust and sand, affecting visibility.
The centre said that the temperatures will substantially drop across the country. Clouds will also accumulate over the sea and the north-eastern regions with chances of some rain.
