Weather forecast for Tuesday

It will be partly cloudy to cloudy weather and conditions could be compounded with strong winds in some areas at time.

“We expect light rain over scattered areas that could be with thunder at time,” said a forecaster.

The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) reported light to moderate rain in Abu Dhabi, including Mussaffa, Bateen, Khalifa City, Al Raha, along with Ghayathi, Tarif-Bida Zayed Road, and Abu Dhabi Airport.

Showers were also reported from Nahil, a town some 70km in the north-west of Al Ain, and Sharjah Airport.

The NCMS also sees another fall in temperature across the country. Winds are expected to be moderately rough to fresh but could blow up dust and sand in the open land areas. Horizontal visibility is also likely to be affected in some areas.
