Al Ain: More showers are expected in parts of the UAE on Thursday, though the rain giving system has been weakening over the Arabian Peninsula over scattered areas.

Weather reports on Thursday

Forecasters at the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) believe there is a  stronger possibility of rain, especially on Thursday morning.

The trail of clouds has currently been passing through the centre of the UAE after giving heavy rain in the eastern Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and Qatar.

Light rain fell in different areas last night including Al Ain and its surrounding areas right up to the northern emirates as well as some coastal areas. Towering clouds are expected to converge over the coastal areas of Abu Dhabi’s western area and the eastern and northern emirates.

The NCMS said weather will be cloudy today, with a chance of rain over scattered areas at times.

Temperatures are also expected to fall slightly. Winds are expected to be moderately rough and slightly stronger at times over sea and open land areas.

Temperatures are likely to remain between 16 to 25 degree Celsius in the coastal areas, 13c to 27c in the internal, and 7c to 20c in the mountainous areas.
