Fair and pleasant weather for New Year holiday
Temperature likely to drop at night
The forecasters, however, warned people of cold conditions at night, asking them to wear warm clothes as the temperature is likely to drop down to 7 degrees Celsius in the internal areas, 6 degrees Celsius in the mountains and 15 degrees in the coastal areas at night.
There are also some chances of fog formation early this (Tuesday) morning in the Western Region of Abu Dhabi. The maximum daytime temperature is expected to be around 25C to 27C in the Emirates.
The National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS) said conditions would be fair but in some areas it is likely to get partly cloudy at times. Winds will be light to moderately rough but could gain speed, especially over the sea.
The centre has also warned that the sea will be moderately rough in general but the northern sea could become rough offshore at times. Humidity will also increase at night and early in the morning in the coastal and internal areas.
The weather will be partly cloudy over some areas tomorrow (Wednesday) and similar conditions will persist.
