Al Ain: People will be able to enjoy clear but warm weather during the Eid Al Fitr holidays as national weather bureau staff said they expected no major change in the conditions.

The conditions in the sea, deserts, costal, and mountainous areas could be little different but expected to be calm to moderately rough.

People planning outdoor activities such as sea or desert trips or long drives, however, have been advised to keep themselves up-to-date with the weather information.

“There are some good chances of cumulus clouds in the afternoon in the country’s eastern and mountainous areas,” a forecaster said. That would mean partly cloudy conditions in these areas, he said.

The sea is likely to be light to moderately rough in general. Waves would be one to three feet high on the coastline but 2.4 feet to five feet high offshore.

According to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS), winds would be light to moderate but could gain speed in the open areas at times, kicking up dust and sand.

The centre, however, expect no chance of unsettled conditions anywhere in the country.

“Hot weather during the daytime and hazy at times is expected during the Eid holidays up to Saturday,” said the forecaster. Relative humidity is expected to increase at night and early in the morning in the coastal areas, especially the western coast, said the NCMS.

Temperature in the coastal areas is expected to remain between 28 to 43 degree Celsius, 26 to 47 in the interior areas, and 25 to 35 in the mountainous areas.
