Dubai: The Eid Al Adha holidays saw 27 traffic accidents involving two deaths and 25 injuries in Dubai.
Colonel Jamal Al Bannai, Acting Director of Dubai Traffic Police, said that out of the 27 recorded accidents in the October 3-6 period, only 10 accidents involved deaths or injuries.
Two people were killed, one was seriously injured, 14 were moderately injured and 10 sustained minor injuries.
Last Eid Al Adha (2013) saw 22 injuries and two deaths.
One of the significant accidents during Eid, was when two trucks crashed and a third flipped over in Al Quoz road in the Umm Suqeim direction.
Col Al Bannai said three people were injured, one sustained seriously injuries, one moderate, and the third sustained minor injuries.
